The small and large blinds are placed by two players to the left of the dealer to begin the game. The dealer then deals each player two cards, each of which is unique to them. The players to the left of the big blind decide whether to call, raise, or fold their hand to begin the betting round.
The dealer deals the flip, which consists of three community cards that are placed on the table after the players have completed a full betting circle. The active player seated to the left of the dealer initiates the next betting round for the players who are still in the hand.
The fourth card (the turn) is dealt after all bets in this round have been resolved. By followed by the last card I.e. the river , the next betting round begins. After the river is dealt, the final and most aggressive round begins. After that, the remaining players must reveal their two cards. The round is won by the contestant who has the best 5-card hand combination.
The goal is usually to have the greatest five-card hand or persuade others that you do. When the ‘action’ is on you in each round, you can deposit a stake, call or raise any existing bets, or fold.
You can fold at any point when it’s your time to gamble. If more than one player stays in the game until the last betting round, there is a’showdown,’ in which all players reveal their cards. The winner is the one who has the better hand.
